The Kerala Relief Fund has collected over Rs 700 Crore through donations so far. But, the losses incurred by the state are estimated to be as high as Rs 20,000 Crore. Beyond the relief camps, there is the question of rebuilding God’s own country.
According to Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, 7000 houses were completely destroyed by the floods and another 50,000 homes were damaged. Add to this, the cost of destroyed crops, rebuilding schools, hospitals, and roads, it is clear that God’s Own Country still needs our help.
To this end, The Ladies Compartment teamed up with the all-girl team at All2Defy , a sassy streetwear brand, to bring you a two-week long sale. While All2Defy also donates a part of its profits to KHEL KHEL MEIN, an NGO dedicated to bringing gender equality to sports, half their profits of this sale are going to donated to the Kerala CM Disaster Relief Fund.
TLC knew All2Defy was a company with which to collaborate when its team said, “giving back is part of our DNA. Seeing the unfortunate situation in Kerala, we knew this was a cause we wanted to support.”
